Yggdrasil the Gaming Giant Has Been Busy This Month

Two Deals, Two Different Partnerships:

August 2018 saw two huge announcements come from Yggdrasil, the superior gaming operator who has offices in Malta, Sweden, Poland and Gibraltar; the first being a deal with the industry-leading Genting UK and the second, a deal with BetVictor…

Genting Casino signed an agreement with the supplier to bring their best performing slots and games to the global operator. Customers will be able to access the full suite of games whilst also benefiting from in-game promotional tools, including in-game tournaments, leader boards and cash races.

Frederik Elmqvist, Yggdrasil CEO commented; “As one of the most famous and respected casino brands on the planet, we are thrilled to have reached this agreement with Genting. We look forward to working with them closely to deliver our market-leading games and maximise player enjoyment.”

Genting Director of Gaming Product, Rob Hoddinott also added his two cents on the deal…

“Our focus is on presenting the most exciting and engaging gaming experiences. Yggdrasil’s products have a proven appeal among a broad range of slots players, so they will be a very positive addition to our online casino.”

A Done Deal:

Yggdrasil has also announced a deal with BetVictor, to supply their full portfolio of video slots and casino games, to the BetVictor brand. The deal is identical to the one struck with Genting: offering leader boards, cash races and tournaments to punters. Commenting on this deal, Mr Elmqvist said; “We’re delighted to partner with BetVictor, one of the biggest brand names in the betting and gaming sector.

“There is significant demand from leading operators for our innovative content that keeps getting better and better, and we’rereally looking forward to working with BetVictor.”

Who is Yggdrasil?

Yggdrasil is a passionate team who loves nothing more than creating innovative online casino and mobile games. Since receiving their very first license in 2013, the underdog software company has achieved great things, including:

The company bagged the ‘Gaming Software Supplier of the Year’ award in the International Gaming Awards as well as the award for ‘Software Rising Star’ trophy in the EGR B2B Awards.
  • The brag social media sharing tool was launched in 2016, alongside the popular prize-paying missions. Yggdrasil white label studios launched this year too. Two awards were won this year too, including: ‘Slot Provider of the Year’ in the EGR B2B Awards and the ‘Gaming Software Supplier of the Year’ award at the International Gaming Awards (IGA).
  • In 2017, Yggdrasil’s, Dragons, launched. Two awards were won in 2017 too; ‘Slot Provider of the Year’ in the EGR B2B Awards and ‘Innovator of the Year’ at IGA.
  • In 2018, they won the award for ‘Innovation in RNG Casino Software’ at the EGR B2B Awards, along with the award for ‘Innovator of the Year’ at IGA yet again.
