POP, the Playtech Open Platform content aggregation service is once again relaunched with a promise from the provider to offer better and wider choice to other operators and developers.
What Is Their Next Step?
It’s easy to conclude that general improvement is their primary goal and Playtech’s plan is to connect this platform to their Marketplace.
Furthermore, POP has already been implemented with their IMS back-office marketing platform and management.
POP will be placed next to the Gaming Platform As Service (GPAS) content design and game building tools for developers.
The Point Of This Strategy?
A spokesperson for this corporation gave a statement to iGamingBusiness.com and stated that by joining three important elements – management and development operations along with identification, they have managed to make some form of ecosystem that will make this content aggregation process simpler and faster.
This upgraded version of this platform is currently live and it is accessible to the Isle of Man-headquartered supplier’s licensees and at the same time, it will give operators an entry to their superb library of games with various top-notch providers such as Red Tiger, Blueprint and IGT.
Peter Mares, chief technology officerof Playtech’s Games innovation Labs unit commented on this project:
“Third-party content access and integration has been a headache for operators for a long time. POP will transform the whole experience, and its integration with other technologies will be of great benefit.”
Buzz Bingo Gained Access Too:
One of the latest operators that now also has this service within their reach is Buzz Bingo, which rebranded from Gala Bingo in 2018.
Last year, this company made an agreement with Playtech covering content delivery across casino and bingo verticals, and they have also gained an access to the IMS tools which are connected to Playtech’s Engagement Centre.
Buzz Bingo CEO, Chris Matthews commented on this topic and said:
“The new platform takes us to the next level and will allow us to deliver a significantly enhanced player journey across both retail and digital.”
Although we assume that most of you know some information about this company, it doesn’t hurt to add some more.
Namely, they represent the world’s biggest online gaming software supplier traded on the London Stock Exchange Main Market.
They are known for their cutting-edge, high-quality solutions that they frequently offer to some of the most popular operators in the gaming industry.
They were established twenty years ago and their main focus has always been on the constant development of some of the best content and gaming products. Fortunately, they have successfully managed to build plethora of strong dealerships with their licensees.
