AGA Announces Decrease of Irresponsible Players

It is widely-known that the gaming industry is continuously expanding and that it gains a lot of new players each day.

This fact shouldn’t be worrying anyone as long as people in charge are taking precautions to prevent any form of illegal actions.

American Gamers Moving in Right Direction:

According to the latest reports done by the American Gaming Association (AGA), gamblers in America are fortunately practicing responsible gaming.

Namely, bettors report determining budgets, sticking to them and having consciousness concerning responsible gaming resources at extremely high rates.

What Do Results Say?

According to these reports, nine out of ten gamblers actually plan the amount of money they will wager before they enter a casino.

Ninety percent of those who gamble are aware of the amount of money they spent and eight out of ten of casual casino visitors, as well as nine out of ten passionate gamblers know the importance of responsible gaming.

Bill Miller, president and CEO of the AGA commented:

“Responsible gaming is our industry’s top priority. This research indicates that our unwavering commitment to responsibility is resonating with our customers. But success in this key area will never mean our work is done, and we look forward to continuing to work with gaming regulators, our partners in the fight against problem gambling and our employees to ensure customers continue to engage in this form of mainstream entertainment responsibly.”

Bright Future Ahead of Us:

All these reports are showing that in the last couple of months some positive changes were made when it comes to this industry.

Furthermore, people are growing as far as acceptance of gaming is concerned. Moreover, the results are pointing out that 88 percent of adults from the United States see this form of amusement as something entertaining and enticing, but nothing more.

Namely, Americans also have a positive outlook of this entire industry and its role as a community partner. Approximately eighty percent of individuals think of gaming as a job creator, and six out ten believe that operators are very useful when it comes to their local economies.

Miller added:

“Gaming has made great strides over the past few years with the public increasingly recognizing our industry as the community partner and economic driver we know it to be.

I look forward to working with our members and all interested stakeholders to build upon this great momentum in the years to come.”
